New requirements for passengers traveling with Thai Lion Air from 1st September 2021

According to the latest announcement from the Civil Aviation Authority of Thailand (CAAT), Thai Lion Air requires passengers traveling from 1st September 2021 onwards to prepare additional travel documents as specified below.

  • Please check the entry/exit requirements before traveling to each destination. The conditions for entering/exiting and disease control measures of each province can be checked on the website of the Center for Covid-19 Situation Administration at  https://www.moicovid.com/
    • Passengers are required to present documents that they have been vaccinated according to the criteria specified in the travel conditions of the destination province OR
    • Present documents of Covid-19 test results by RT-PCR or Antigen Test Kit (ATK) within 72 hours prior to departure OR
    • Present documents certifying that passengers had been infected with COVID-19 and have been cured not more than 90 days, according to the travel conditions of the destination province. (Passengers can check the list of laboratories/medical technical clinics that offer testing services for COVID-19 and issue ATK results on the website https://service.dmsc.moph.go.th/labscovid19/ or https://mtc-hotline-labs.web.app/ )
  • Passengers need to fill out information before travelling through the website https://covid-19.in.th/  and show to the ground staff.
  • Passengers who check in online, it is necessary to go to the check-in counter to check the documents before traveling.
  • If passenger is found to be a confirmed patient or a high-risk contact, the airline has right to deny your travel. Failure to do so may result in penalties under the Communicable Disease Act B.E. 2558 (2015)
  • The airline refrains from serving food and drinking water during the flight. Also, passengers are not allowed to consume food and drink during the journey.
  • Please arrive to the airport at least 2 hours for check-in and present documents in accordance with the conditions of entry/exit of the destination province.
  • If passenger is denied travel from the origin or destination due to non-compliance with the announcement of CAAT, the airline will not be liable to compensate for a passenger's refusal.

Travel safe by wearing a mask during flight, wash your hands with alcohol spray or gel, and maintain social distancing.
